Beautiful Lengths – Giving Back
Well, it is certainly not a new concept and it’s also certainly not a hard way to help give back. For the travellers like me who go months or even years on end without getting your locks cut or trimmed… there are much better uses for your hair than giving it more than a dozen sea salt baths, trekking through the thick air of Bangkok or waving it through the desert sands of Dubai.
How about cutting it off for cancer?
It was the most uplifting experience after having been dragged down by my long locks after travelling for so long and on top of it all, it was going towards an amazing cause!
Just because I enjoy travelling and ‘giving back,’ no where in my ‘life guide book’ does it tell me that I can’t do it in the comfort of my own home.
