Based on the response I received from friends and readers, I felt it only makes sense to continue my personal blog ‘Making 21 count‘ and transforming it into ‘Give For Granted: A Travellers Blog.’ This will allow my friends, family and readers the opportunity to follow along with my travel life and my business plans all in one.
Well… It is now the beginning of December and as promised… The first shipment of Granted Apparel has ARRIVED!
With 3 different designs and 3 different styles (tanks, tees, crew necks)… I sure you will be able to find the one you like and the one to represent CANADA and our world while you travel!
I have spoken to a few friends about the brand and most people thought I was crazy for spending so much on the cost of the shirts when most companies can get away with selling shirts being made for 2 or 3 dollars. My reason behind spending more than 4 times this amount on one shirt is because my brand has not been created to make money, nor has it been created to be ‘just another brand.’
Granted Apparel is designed and created for those who love travel, believe in social justice and have a passion for fashion! I intend for my apparel to last while backpacking, to last at the office, on the plane, at the bar, anywhere and everywhere!
Just wait, and you will understand the blend between cotton, rayon and polyester apparel allows you an easy clean and a long lasting wear. You can wash them in the sink with a bar of soap, throw them in a ball for a month of backpacking or spend weeks in the same shirt and it will still be the best tee you’ve owned in your closest. Wrinkle free and withstands those awful balls and threads that come out through wear and tear, this apparel is what Give For Granted is all about!
You can enjoy your life in style, while helping to support your country, your home and native land.
In addition to the arrival of apparel, we have also made our first magazine appearance in Passion8’s December issue of young entrepreneurs! The article gives you a little bit of background information on the brand and is hopefully going to make a big impact on the sales and donations we can get in! Jump on the bandwagon and help support your fellow CANADIANS living in poverty!
